Hi. My name is Craig Ford. I’m currently on a mission to help transform how Americans manage their finances.
I teach a message of financial transformation here on this blog and at the seminars I present with churches. The seminar is called Transforming Your Financial Diet.
Money Help for Christians will help you discover how to honor God with all your resources. This blog promotes a frugal, simple, debt-free, and generous lifestyle so Christians can faithfully maximize their resources by putting them at the disposal of God’s Kingdom.
I have one goal for everyone who reads this blog – to change. To be transformed. Money can never be discussed in a vacuum apart from our faith and our spiritual life. How we handle, manage, and interact with money is a key indicator of what is happening in our spiritual lives.
I want to help you honor God as master and demote money to the role of servant. If used wisely, money can be a tool to bring Glory to God and help to others. That’s what we want to do with our money – bring God glory.
My prayer is that every post will challenge you to grow in the grace of giving. By God’s grace, I pray that God will use this blog as a driving force in the war against consumerism and materialism.

What should you expect from MH4C?
- Financial teachings from a Biblical perspective. I don’t talk about what makes sense according to the calculator, but primarily according to scripture.
- Articles that focus on topics that impact all aspects of faith and personal finance.
- A behind the scenes look at finances. We’ll analyze the motivations, impulses, and the spiritual implications of our financial decisions.

Here’s a sample of some of the helpful guides/articles you’ll find at MH4C:
- Discipleship as a Key to Unlocking a Biblical View of Money
- 5 Ways to Drive a Stake into the Heart of the Jonses
- Is the Rich Fool the Modern Day Retiree?
- What My Toothbrush Taught Me About the Subtlety of Greed
- A Silly Story About a Coke Bottle
The statistics about Christian finances are pitiful (and I wish I could think of a nicer word). Study after study, survey after survey, all support this one sad reality: Christians don’t spend money in ways that are different from non-Christians. We don’t spend less on luxuries. We don’t give more. Statistically, we are no different.
This fact convinces me that we all (myself included) need a financial transformation.
Here’s how I plan to help you on that journey:
When you subscribe to my blog, in addition to getting access to all the free content on this blog, I’ll also give you: Dónde usar la tarjeta Tricot 2 en Chile. Requisitos y Más
* A free electronic copy of The Bible and 21st Century Finances: Thought Provoking Answers to Nine Common Questions. You’ll get a solid overview of a biblical view of money. That’s a good place to start if you are new to this blog.
* A 10 week email course focused on Missional Frugality and Financial Transformation. Each Sunday afternoon, I’ll send you an email that is designed to help you question and re-evaluate your current relationship with money.
