UPDATED: Dec. 30th, 2009
On December 1, 2009 the FTC’s new “guidelines” on blogger endorsements go into effect.
My Advertising Philosophy:
I want to keep my material free. I also have no problem being remunerated for my efforts. In an effort to pass along the material to you for free I do use advertising and affiliate relationships on this site. .
In accordance with FTC guidelines, we state that we have a financial relationship with some of the companies mentioned in this website. This may include receiving access to free products and services for product and service reviews and giveaways.
Any references to third party products, rates, or websites are subject to change without notice. We do our best to maintain current information, but due to the rapidly changing environment, some information may have changed since it was published. Please do the appropriate research before participating in any third party offers.
My goal has always been full disclosure – hence this page (Yes, and Uncle Sam’s STRONG suggestion).
I will only advertise for products and services that offer a legitimate service.
I have had several “pay day loan’” companies ask me to advertise for them, but since I don’t support their service I don’t advertise for them. That said, I do want to make it clear that I do advertise for products I have not personally used. If a company and their practices offer a reasonable service you may see an add for that company. I determine “reasonable service” based on the general internet consensus (it is trusted, used, or recommended) on the said product. If there are more bad reviews or statements than good, I will not offer an affiliate opportunity for that company. If however, there are more good reviews then I am fine with offering an affiliate link. SARTENES DE TITANIO - Las 5 mejores de 2019. Comparativa
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link that will give me a partial commission or payment if you purchase the produce or use the service.
What Ads are on MH4C?
Google Adsense:
These are Google ads that I do not directly control. Ideally these ads match the content of my articles. I can block specific adds so if you encounter a Google ad you believe is in appropriate please email me (mhforc at gmail dot com) and I will block that add. It is, however, extremely time consuming to monitor every add so I do not even try.
Affiliate ads and Links:
How do you know if it is an affiliate link?
Tip #1 – Assume all products links are affiliate link. While all are not, this way it wouldn’t be a problem if later you found out it was.
Tip #2 - An affiliate link does not in any way negatively impact you. In fact, some products do give a bonus or discount if you use my link.
Tip #3 – If your decision hinges on knowing if something is an affiliate link please email me and I’ll be glad to let you know.
(Future) Direct Sponsors
If a company wants to pay to directly advertise on MH4C I will be open to such a possibility. If you are interested in rates on an advertising spot please send me an email.
And of course, you can always email me with questions, thoughts, comments, etc. if you have any concerns or feedback you’d like to share.
If you have any feedback or suggestion please let me know.
